Die Welle in „Deutschland ist eins: vieles.“

„Die von der Bundesregierung eingesetzte Kommission „30 Jahre Friedliche Revolution und Deutsche Einheit“ präsentiert sich vom 5. September bis zum 4. Oktober 2020 mit einer Kubus-Installation auf einer 30m²-Fläche auf dem Luisenplatz in der Potsdamer Innenstadt. Die Installation wird sowohl von außen als auch von innen künstlerisch ausgestaltet.“ (Quelle: https://deutschland-ist-eins-vieles.art/)

Genauer gesagt initiiert die Kommission die „Galerie der Einheit“: ein wachsendes Kunstprojekt mit begleitender virtueller Ausstellung. Mein Bild „Die Welle“ bildet seit gestern einen Beitrag der virtuellen Galerie des Projektes . -:)

Manch einsames Haus am Feldesrand hat viele Geschichten zu erzählen: über seine Bewohner, seine Lage zum Dorf, zur Stadt, im Land und als Stecknadel auf dem Globus. Und immer sind es hier die Alleen, welche die Verbindungen in die Ferne und zurück in die Heimat bedeuten. Der Weg ist da und kann in beide Richtungen von uns begangen werden. Das ist schön. Ich liebe dieses Brandenburger Land, in dem ich das Licht der Welt erblickte.

Some lonely house at the edge of a field has lots of stories to tell: about its residents, its location to the village, to the city, in the country and as a pin on the globe. And always here it is the avenues that are the connections to the far away and back home. The path is there and can be walked in both directions by us. That is beautiful. I love this Brandenburg Land where I saw the light of day.

Das Rathaus in Berlin Schöneberg ist Rathaus für den Bezirk Tempelhof-Schöneberg. In der Zeit von 1949 bis 1993 tagte hier das Berliner Abgeordnetenhaus. 1949 bis 1991 war es Sitz des Regierenden Bürgermeisters. Die Übergabe der im Rathaus beheimateten Freiheitsglocke fand am 21. Oktober 1950 statt. Sie ist die größte nicht religiös oder rituell genutzte Glocke Berlins. Sie erklingt im Schlagton e° und wiegt 10.206 kg.
Während der Teilung der Stadt (1961-1989) hatte die Freiheitsglocke für den Westteil der Stadt eine besonders hohe Symbolkraft. Täglich wurde ihr Klang bis zum Tag der deutschen Einheit vom Rundfunksender RIAS Berlin übertragen.
Das Glockengeläut mit Freiheitsschwur wird noch heute sonntags um 12 Uhr im Deutschlandradio Kultur übertragen:

From 1949 to 1991 it was the office for the Mayor of Berlin. The handover of the Liberty Bell, which is housed in the town hall, was on 21 October 1950. It is the largest bell in Berlin not used for religious or ritual purposes. It sounds in the striking tone e° and weighs 10,206 kg.
